Who Is Hotsy Equipment Company?
John and Betty Redmond started Hotsy Equipment Company in the summer of 1971 in North Glenn,
Colorado. John worked full time for United Airlines and began selling pressure
washers on the side. In 1972, he quit his job with United and moved to Illinois
to become a distributor for Hotsy.
In 1989 John and Betty’s son Steve joined the family business. Upon John and Betty’s
retirement in 2002, Steve stepped in, where he continues today in his role as General
Manager of the company.
Our territory includes most of Illinois and Eastern Iowa, where we have been
providing equipment solutions for 36 years. Currently, we offer over 100 models of
hot water pressure washers
cold water pressure washers,
parts washers and water treatment systems. We also handle a complete line of
and accessories to match each unit and the individual cleaning needs.
In 2005, Hotsy Equipment Company of Princeton received the ‘Award of Excellence’
for outstanding growth in sales and service in the marketplace. We attribute

heavy equipment. It includes a washing area with a hose system that delivers the high-pressure
water from a remotely located power washer. A wash bay allows for multiple users,

your building's natural gas or electric supply.
